Mixed Synthesizer
Celebrating YOU, the Mixed Synthesizer!
The “Passionate Creators and Lovers” of the World!
“Intensely Dramatic”
You are a wonderful mix of intellect and emotion, often expressed in artistic pursuits and with strong undertones of impassioned support for issues or causes. You’re pleasure seekers, usually intensely sensual and gifted at making people feel warm and welcome.
When you think of the Mixed Synthesizer Meta-type, think of the quintessential artistic entertainer and charmer. They may have trouble making decisions without reacting emotionally first, but then will express their thoughts dramatically. Delighting in the spotlight on the one hand, Mixed Synthesizers are extraordinarily idealistic and charitable about making the world around them a better place. Some words that best describe the Mixed Synthesizer are:
- Bright
- Beautiful
- Creative
- Extroverted
- Heartbreaking
- Independent
- Receptive
- Sensuous
- Strong
- Warm
- Emotionally erratic when out of Meta-type
As a Mixed Synthesizer, you are ruled by your deeply creative, empathetic nature as well as your shining intellect. “Creating with passion” is the name of your game! You live an intensely emotional and sensual life, loving the call of the dramatic. Your creativity allows you to enjoy giving birth to new ideas, concepts, and ventures. You think big, and have great drive. You love to feel and express your artistic passions, especially in the arts. Your outgoing empathy attracts others to you easily.
When Mixed Synthesizers are torn between their hearts and their heads, your heart usually wins out. You’re emotionally powerful and sensuous, driven by great determination in life. If you allow those energies to be unleashed and unfocused by your mind, you could easily become engulfed, your logical thinking drowned out by your intensity. You love being in the limelight and center stage, but you also allow others to shine with their own brilliance and creativity.
Energy Level
Energetically, Mixed Synthesizers are usually slow to get started, but once they’re in gear, they keep going until they’ve accomplished their goal. They definitely need to exercise, but they may find it too boring or distasteful to bother.
Peak Time of Day
As a Mixed Synthesizer, your mornings begin fairly slowly and your energy may begin to peak by late morning (11:00 AM). You’ll have a dip in the afternoon when your weaker adrenaline energy begins to shut down, giving way as your own dominant parasympathetic nervous system undertakes its nighttime regenerative duties. Your energy picks up again from early to late evening when your stronger endocrine gland energy begins to hit its highest point. You fall asleep easily - and love to sleep - sleeping soundly through the night. However, you can become restless and wake up during the night if you’re under stress.
Stress Response
The Mixed Synthesizer´s strongest endocrine glands are - yes, you guessed it! - the sex glands. They are responsible for creativity, reproduction, sexuality, and the overall sexual health of your body. Your least effective endocrine glands tend to be your adrenals, the “master” glands directing the Stress Response and your body’s energy. Because your least effective endocrine glands are the adrenals, your initial reaction to stress will be anxiety. Unable to sustain a prolonged, strong adrenalin reaction to stress, you’ll quickly fall into depression, especially if your emotional needs or feelings aren’t expressed or heard. You may have problems maintaining enough long-enduring energy and may have a vulnerability to stress if you’re out of balance.
Metabolic Rate & Foods
Your Mixed Synthesizer Meta-type indicates that you are a fairly “slow metabolizer” (your digestive system breaks down your foods rather slowly), but you are a moderately “fast oxidizer” (your body burns off the energy from those foods relatively quickly). This combination gives you a pH range near the midpoint of the acid/alkaline spectrum, more to the alkaline side: “weak alkaline” (6.8).
This type of metabolism gives you less ability to handle the faster-burning carbohydrates (since you’ll tend to burn them off too fast, causing a blood sugar drop). Include in your food plan more of the slower-burning foods, such as proteins. You will require an omnivore diet, with an emphasis on eating more protein: fish, fowl, and eggs, but not red meat. Red meat would supply your body with an overabundance of cholesterol. You already have more than enough of that in your body, and it facilitates the manufacture of your plentiful sex hormones.
Your intense nature constantly tempts you into sensuous eating. You think of food as pleasure and love to eat with great gusto. “Bring on the spicy foods, the cream, fat, and sugar.” Your cravings will explode! Just what you don’t need, foods to stimulate more of your sensuality! Coupled with the fact that your energy-producing glands (the adrenals) and the ones that control weight (the thyroid) are not your strongest power sources, you tend to gain weight very easily, especially in your derriere and hips, sometimes as far down as your thighs.
Importance of Staying in Balance
As a Mixed Synthesizer, you are driven by the dynamic emotional energy of the parasympathetic nervous system, which stimulates your passion and creativity. However, you are almost equally dominated by the sympathetic nervous system, which fuels your powerful intellect. Knowing how to keep in balance within these two powerful polarities is of the utmost importance for your physical, emotional, and mental health. Held hostage by your sympathetic nervous system, you could be pulled into the next faster Meta-type, the Mixed Accelerator. Then you could easily slip into hyper-drive, putting too much pressure on your thyroid gland. This could lead to anxiety attacks or difficulty sleeping. You can’t sustain that type of whirlwind energy for long periods, since it could cause your thyroid gland to slow down, leading to weight gain, fatigue, and irritability. Your less-than-efficient adrenal glands may even burn out, leading to more fatigue, an inability to heal, and even depression. You’ll be susceptible to colds, flus, and even bronchitis. At that point, you may even crash into the Meta-type just below yours, the Balanced Synthesizer. Low blood sugar attacks, sugar cravings, more weight gain, and severe depression could follow.
The Stress Response can also cause Mixed Synthesizers to flip out into another Meta-type (see the Meta-type chart above based on the pH value of each type), usually the one just to the right of your Meta-type, the Mixed Accelerator, when you’re anxious or agitated. If you’re exhausted and burned out, you could plummet into the Meta-type just to the left, the Balanced Synthesizer. If you think you may have swung out of your Meta-type, read about the “Pendulum Effect.“
Knowing all about your Mixed Synthesizer Meta-type will teach you what your body needs in terms of food, exercise, and lifestyle to sustain your pace and be true to yourself. And you’ll learn that all of your health issues deal not only with your body but also with your mind, emotions, intellect, heart, and spirit. Staying in balance within your Mixed Synthesizer Meta-type will help you live a long, healthy, and fulfilling life in which you make use of the skills and talents that are uniquely you.
